This year the conference was held in Reutlingen, a small town near Stuttgart (DE).<\/p>\n<p>During the Conference, I presented a short paper &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/ieeexplore.ieee.org\/document\/8446549\/\"><em>Encounter-type Haptic Interfaces for Virtual Reality Musical Instruments<\/em><\/a>&#8221; (co-authored with my Ph.D. advisor Prof. Hiroo Iwata) both as a talk and Poster.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.albertoboem.com\/index.php\/2018\/04\/02\/ieee-vr-conference-dc-consortium\/29388935_10215546761567985_16114768834199552_n\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-818\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-818 aligncenter\" Conference, I had the change to discuss my research together with senior researchers and fellow students, and experience the last achievements in the research on VR and 3D UI.<\/p>\n<p>Among the many interesting presentations and demo, visiting the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cyberneum.de\/de.html\">Cyberneum<\/a> of the Max Planck Institute (T\u00fcbingen<i>,<\/i>\u00a0DE) was a great experience.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.albertoboem.com\/index.php\/2019\/05\/02\/engineering-residency-at-ycam-interlab\/29425689_10215568586513595_8632921790089265152_n\/\" rel=\"attachment
